It’s Monday evening September 22nd and we’re catching a breather after a very busy weekend. I’m happy to report that the 3rd weekend was another smashing success with great birds, excellent food, and plenty of happy hunters. Both large groups were perfect guests and were very complimetary. It’s a pleasure to work for folks like them. And just like the first two groups these two will be rebooking with us next year too. We sure want to thank all the guests we had in last weekend, they were great to the last man!

Although the cooler weather has chased some of the local birds south, they’ve been replaced by the bigger northern birds. I have to say that hunting when it’s 85 degrees is a bit more enjoyable than when it’s in the upper 90’s like it is in early September. As far as I can see on the 7 day forecast it looks like great weather next weekend too so I don’t expect any change in the birds but we’ll be scouting them all the same.
