MEAT HUNTS
Meat Hunts on the 4B Ranch can be Russian Boar or Whitetail Deer or a combination of the both. The Russian Boar unlike it’s distant relative, the feral hog, is dark red lean meat not so different than venison. Of course venison is well known to all hunters to be lean and clean. The same resources available to our trophy hunters are available to our meat hunters. Spacious blinds strategically located near wheat fields or feeders are available to all of our meat hunters. We also individually guide our hunters to insure they maximize their opportunity and go home with plenty of meat. We also field dress the animals so they are ready for delivery to your processor.
Game animals on the 4B are plentiful enough to support group meat hunts. Call for details.
What is a Meat Animal?
The Russian Boar can vary from 120 lbs to 250 lbs depending on what the hunter is looking for. Shoats, at 100 lbs are perfect for the smoker while a 2 year old boar or sow can be up to 225 lbs. The whitetail deer will be mature does, spike and cull bucks. Combinations of Russian Boar and Whitetail Deer can be taken.
