- 4B Ranch Expectations and Rules -
  • Guests will check in at the 4B Ranch Headquarters, pay balance, sign hunting agreement and liability release forms
  • There will be a ranch orientation and discussions of safety and expectations before first hunt
  • Open bolt policy at all time until in the hunting stand or range
  • No firearms inside the lodge, they can either be stored in one of our gun cabinets or your vehicle
  • Everyone must sight in prior to hunting
  • Guests will be escorted to and from hunting areas by ranch personnel
  • Wounded animals are considered a kill
  • All animals will be weighed and photographed by ranch staff
  • All animals will be field dressed at the Cleaning Station by 4B Ranch personnel
  • All animals harvested by hunters will be taken to your home, to taxidermist, or meat processor
  • Smoking is only allowed outside of lodge
  • Cigarette butts must be extinguished and discarded in trash
  • Alcohol is only allowed after the evening hunt
  • We expect all Texas Hunting Regulations to be strictly followed
  • Firearms will remain unloaded until hunter is in the blind and will be unloaded before hunter exits the blind
  • Minimum caliber on rifles is .243
  • Minimum caliber on pistols is .44 magnum (revolvers or single shot only)
  • Pistols used as primary hunting firearms, no back-up side arms allowed, no semi-automatics
  • No ATV’s are allowed on the ranch
